Am I missing something here… I’m new to the site but here is an example of one of the few things on this list that boggles my mind.
Carlos Lee 65/24/75/.260/3 from first base (a very deep position)
Adam (PACman) Jones 85/25/95/.295/12 from OF (a not so deep position)
Without using a magic 8 ball how do you justify ranking Lee higher when you project him to underperform Jones in every statistical category. Are weight and age categories in your Roto cause that’s all I see Lee having on a guy like Jones.
Or are you just trying to make sure we’re paying attention

@Duke: If you ask this in the current post, I'm sure Grey will be only too happy to answer. I'm guessing he'll say the rankings are calibrated more for roto than H2H, but saying that, they won't change too much.

In a 20 team H2H,standard 5×5 cats,Yahoo re-draft league,how viable would you consider your top 300 to go by for drafting?Is that top 300 more Roto friendly than H2H?Cheers

Grey- love the site, quick question- A. Soriano vs. Garret Jones- you’ve got Soriano ranked ~80 spots higher than Jones, but he’s not better in any particular category- is this due to higher potential upside for him? Or his guaranteed playing time? Thanks

what’s your rationale for ranking Colby Lewis 180 when you have him projected to be better than most guys ahead of him? Lack of confidence?…thinking more like 150.

I notice that only one Indians starter makes the list – Carrasco. I’m an Indians fan and a realist (pessimist?) so I can’t disagree with this. I have no plans on drafting any on my fantasy teams this year, and I have no confidence in them in “real” baseball either. I’m just wondering why Carrasco (probably 4th starter) makes the list above Masterson/Carmona. Do you have projections for the latter two? Again – not arguing – just curious what your numbers for them would be and why.

You are right, they do jump certain players. On the other hand, I believe that Liriano was buried last year and they didn’t jump him much at all.
