Analysis: Gonzalez is looking at about a four-month recovery time from this surgery, which would be around the end of February. He had said his shoulder had been bothering him since early May. Gonzalez should be ready for spring training and considered a top Fantasy 1B on Drat Day. He batted .298 with 31 homers and 101 RBI for the Padres in 2010.
