Wright (and Beltran) almost sank me this year, though I still feel compelled to bargain hunt on him for next season…

I know you mocked his Victorino-like production, but would you still take him in the mid-late 2nd rd? At what point does drafting him become an automatic must?

@Grey: Possibly, but I wonder if it’s more a case of familiarity breeding a bit of contempt.

Back in the day, you got to see your favourite team or player much less frequently (especially paying in really big games) so it meant more when you did. But now with the interwebnet and ESPN etc, you’re bombarded with with sport 24-7. It’s just not as special anymore.

That’s my experience with rugby, anyway, and I think it probably applies to pro sport where you are too.
