oh ya thinking weiters,suzuki,montero at catcher ,whatever the better deal …forget mccann im gonna make someone pay too much lol…rather spend my money elsewhere and the other good catchers are gone …hopefully ill get weiters! then hey for MY 2nd OF….. not sure to spend more on …werth…ichiro…ellisbury….or get a deal on cruz…or even better adam jones who will be cheap i bet?

thanks grey…seems the top 300 spreadsheet gets updated pretty good!
i printed that for draft. ive decided im getting fielder for sure….think hell be better value than pujos who i know should go 56-60 with our guys.
then im also going for my num 1 of braun…these will be my 2 big guys.at 2nd ..cano, zobrist or if there 2 high then stewart who you also like } 3rd… chone, michael young, or beckem [damm id hate to to take a sox player..lol CUBS FAN!] ss… elvis,bartlett, cabrera asdrubal, or if these guys have a clue then tejada cheap. then see how my bankroll is going thatll depend on how much i spend on my 2nd of…already got hunter as my 3rd. then all spred the rest to 2 decent dh who can be anyone….then to cheap quality pitching….already have bell and wandy…need 4 more.
then backups who will all be 1-2$ players at the end….which will be decent with our knuckleheads leaving plenty to chose from..lol.

so what do you think? add comments please..lol decided to go in with some kind of a plan lol.

You gave yourself a great suggestion for the post I’d most like to see before my draft.

You wrote, “If I were to only talk about the guys I would actually own, this top 100 may only be 20 guys long.”

Any chance you’ll take a fresh look at the top 100, and tell us who the 20 or so players are that you’d be targeting above the rest? I agree with your take on rankings… what’s really important, is identifying the players you like best, then playing out the draft to fill your team with those guys (which can be done fairly well by watching ADP values).

10 team league,I have the 5th draft pick,planning on Braun. Keeper league which allows 3 keepers.Need to choose from the following:

Kershaw Cost 8th round pick
Verlander Cost 11th round
Longoria Cost 13th round
Pedroia Cost 15th round
Hanson Cost 18th round

Plan on keeping Longoria and Hanson, not sure who should be the third keeper

@Hollidon’t?: Holliday doesn't worry me. He's a 25 homer, .310 hitter with good Runs and RBIs and decent steals. @chiasports: He's worth $50+. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for him.

what everyone else costs is kinda based off him

he went for $56 last year…think hes gonna let him go and see what itll take to buy him back. scored 705 points last year….fielder 580…tex 550…braun 540.. then like 8 guys between 520-500

voting this year on getting rid of minus 1 for strikeouts…either 0 or down to just a half point. so im saying if it goes through then all the others would close in on him because they strikeout more than pujos

Clearly Matt Holliday ripped it up at Busch and will be in a peach position this year.

But don’t his career Home/Road (Coors/not Coors) splits spook you a little bit?

Comparing Jason Bay and Holliday’s career road results makes it hard to rank Holliday 3 rounds ahead of Bay.
