That thread is the no-holds-barred octagon of smack-death, where 18 teams enter, one team leaves.

So out here in the real world I can say: I feel ya. The 18-team league is kind of ridiculously deep, as evidenced by every single team posting “Positions Wanted: MI”

But in the Octagon of Trash-Talkery, I can only say: Well, you can go look. Or not. Not for the squeamish!

I’m used to a 10 team league where outfielders are a dime a dozen. By the time my turn kept coming back around all the ones at the top of my list were gone, tick tick tick, every 30 seconds, damm. Had to grab somebody.

It was like starring in the movie Crank. Only without the fear of death.

In a related story, why does everyone’s outfield suck except mine? Seriously, Ben Francisco, Mike Cameron, Lastings Milledge? Did you forget we were using OFs?
