Murton’s been criminally underused. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was traded and he had a similar career path to Eric Byrnes. Finally landing somewhere and getting his chance.

I agree with you on Matt Murton. I’ve liked for several years. With his batting eye and line drive power, you know he is a .290/20/90 guy with an .850+ OPS just waiting for his shot. But he is still under 30, so Captain Lou will likely opt for a Raul Ibanez for Felix Pie and Sean Gallagher deal before giving The Big Murt a chance.
