What are your thoughts on Angel Pagan? Would you drop Rajai Davis for him? I hate to give up on Davis, but he’s been ice cold. Also, would you go with Pagan over Blackmon?

@Marqo: I agree with you...I really like Pagan so wanted Grey's opinion on him. Grady just isn't cutting it right now so looking for a replacement and Cuddyer has just been killing the ball lately (another HR today)

For the remainder of the season I’d go with
Pagan > Grady > Cuddyer

Pagan is a underrated 5-Tooler who started slow but he’ll put up better numbers soon!

Stupid Scherzer was cruising along after the rough first inning and just when it looked like he would get through 6 innings – he left with 2 outs after a walk, hit batter, and another walk to the bottom of the lineup.

He could still win it thanks to the offense, but the quality start is gone.

@theguarantee: he's ben so god awful lately, and I'm sitting on a 1.04 ERA with a 0.55 WHIP and a 10.04 Ks/9 (had Verlander and Hamels go already) for the week, and I'd rather not have him blow that with a shit outing. Even if he's awesome, he won't help it much.

@Wilsonian – Really? I don’t own Gio but if I did, he’d be starting with ease for me. Vegas pegs the A’s -147, o/u in the game of 7.5. Facing young lefty sticks and Outman held them to 1 run last night. Not trying to talk you into it, but I’d be starting him with confidence.

@Pums: I'm in the same boat. Keeping Hardy around at least for a couple weeks since Hanley is getting extra rest (for example, no day after night games), may try to shop him after that, or during those couple weeks. Surely someone in your league has a crappy SS.

For 2B, Nishioka, Espinosa or Gordon Beckham going forward? I am now having 3 in SB, and behind the 4 guy by 11 SB, largely due to my Crawford and McCutchen are not running at the rate I hoped. However, even some improvements can be expected going forward, it seems like they will still underachieve in SB this season. So, finding third SB guy in my lineup becomes necessary. My players in other spots are too good to bench, so I can only consider 2B.
