@Grey: Well, after a terrible week in my 12 Team H2H League where I lost 10-0-2 and fell out of first place, I was ready to start afresh this week with Garza, Oswalt and my newly acquired ace Takahashi taking the hill. You know the details. Of course, we are in a weekly league, so I have to watch as Takahashi tries one more time to push my ERA to double digits with as few K's as possible. The Baseball gods have indeed showered (of the golden variety) on my week!

It almost was vetoed even though the guy getting Ortiz and Posey desperately needed HR and RBI and I needed steals, which he had a surplus of.

Granted, I still feel like I got the better end but so did the other guy. That's the definition of a fair trade when it's need-based.

@MarkM: I'm the Steve that traded away Price and Wilson to get Wright, coincidentally from another Steve.

I'm happy (obviously) with how it turned out. Another guy in my league, not so much.

I just included a couple of snippets from the league message board for BSA's entertainment.

@Anyone that can help me out here - Are there two Steves from the same league arguing about the same trade on here? Can't you guys take it to your league's board? Veto is to stop collusion, not to reject a trade that you might not like. Whether or not you think it's fair if two active managers are both trying to improve their team there's nothing you should do to stop it. Maybe next time you'll be a little more active trading and you'll be the one getting the perceived "lopsided deal"

Sorry but people that bitch about trades irritate the Polanco out of me.

Strange game for Bills. Great Whip, eh ERA. Bizarro Bills. Still a good game with the K's.

Expected more out of Liriano though against the M's. 8 hits in 4 in.
