Wire is thin and Ive been stashing C. Santana and M. Stanton hoping for a May/June call up. So, Im now considering cutting bait on both Stanton and Santana. I have C. Snyder at catcher, who is filling in fine and (Montero DL’d). Ideally, never want to carry 3 catchers, so in a perfect world, Id dump Snyder, pick up and arm and slide C. Santana in at catcher till Montero gets back. Hence, my long winded way of asking the question…

My current 3 UTIL (we start 3):
Vlad
Corey Hart
Travis Snider (just dumped Reimold)

Bench:
Stanton
C. Santana

Do I keep Santana and/or Stanton OR do I add David Freese (right now, I have #1 waiver claim in to add Freese, drop Stanton)? I think Freese could be nice balance of the year, especially hitting 5th-6th in that Cards line-up. Tell me that Stanton wont be a monster and make this easy for me…
