But think about it from a fantasy standpoint, not true MLB value - 6 seasons of 30+ hr, half of which came back when it meant something. 6 seasons of 96+ RBI, one of them a whopping 142. He was also at or above league average in batting 10 times, meaning he doesn't kill you like an Adam Dunn used to. He's clearly a very valuable CI in the world of fantasy. He’s not a HOF’er, he falls short.

But think about it from a fantasy standpoint, not true MLB value – 6 seasons of 30+ hr, half of which came back when it meant something. 6 seasons of 96+ RBI, one of them a whopping 142. He was also at or above league average in batting 10 times, meaning he doesn’t kill you like an Adam Dunn used to.

He’s clearly a very valuable CI in the world of fantasy.
