@Bfeels: Definitely a great move in my opinion. I’d take Venters over Burnett any day in almost any type of league, including AL-only.

@nyydj2: After the Brox news, I'd probably want to own Kuo, Guerra and Jansen, in order. Actually, I'd rather just avoid the situation altogether, if at all possible. I wouldn't worry about the Melancon meltdown -- they won't pull him after one blow up. @Dope man: Nathan. @birrrdy!: That would definitely be a concern for me, though with Bastardo pitching well and Lidge due back at some point, they may ultimately look to improve elsewhere (if at all). Still, Madson is definitely a sell high, as I don't see him as keeping the job all year.

Your drafting strategy paid off well for me to this year. NL only 5×5 10-team auction keeper (w/$300 to play with). Couldn’t justify spending the $26 that went for Wilson, $23 for Marmol and $20 for Bell.

So I got pretty lucky at the end of the draft with my $8 for Storen, $9 for Hanrahan, and $6 for Madson as my only relievers taken.

Doesn’t always work out that way tho, as there have been years I’ve missed out on closers altogether, like last year, with my stingy draft day approach.

As for Madson, are you concerned that the Phillies might just trade for a healthy top tier closer like Heath Bell, and then move Madson back to a set-up role? The hand issues can’t be helping matters.

@chimpy: I have him in my main dynasty league and I'm not expecting significant contributions for the rest of the year. That said, I would do everything I could (and I am) to stash him on the DL or the bench, as mediocre Roy is still better than anything you can find on the wire. @shibboleth: Fair value, but like Marqo says, it depends on a lot of factors. League size, rules, games/innings limits, etc.
