Great Article! I loved the Bird and Had his baseball card from his rookie year, which got stollen from my garrage! Neighbor kids but couldn’t prove it! I was a big fan of The Bird and remember the game that Greg Nettles talked to his bat! I watched every Yankee game at that time! Phil Rizzuto loved to talk about the Bird! I also remember the Sport Illustrated Cover of him with Big Bird! one of my favorite muppets!
