This episode is going to be uuuuuuuuugggge, it’s the Tampa Bay Rays and Texas Rangers Top Prospects all crammed into one. Both really tremendous, tremendous farm systems. Okay, neither of them are really that great, but our Presidential Trump filter makes everything bigly. So Halp and myself delve into both systems and our favorites from each. We talk Jose De Leon for at least the 20th time on the prospect podcast. Not because we love him or anything, but mostly because he gives us tons of reasons. Well the rest you can listen to and find out, it’s the latest episode of the Razzball Prospect Podcast.

    Ralph, good stuff.
    1. In a 12 team redraft league after everyone fills their 25 man rosters so 300 total, we draft 6 reserves. Any prospects that I should stash? Just looking for 2 or 3 guys.
2 . Same roster set but in a dynasty redraft keep all. Who for sure would you target or even reach for?
Thank you, and have a nice weekend.

      @Packers: I mean that’s super tough, I don’t know who’s owned.

I know prospects. I know prospects better than anyone else. Trust me. And you people. You people can’t be trusted. No one belives you anymore. C’mon your name is imaginary brick wall. Fake is in your name. Now the Angels, that’s a great system. The best. Better than any system since Braves in the 90’s. How do I know? Because I know. Trust me. I have my sources. They never lie like you and your fake prospect reviews. Making up all these judgements and numbers. So sad.

@Big Odio: It’s uuuuuuuuge, it’s the best show we’ve ever done. The ratings are amazing, best ratings people had ever seen. Many many people told me how high the ratings are. These are people who know these things.

Love your guy’s stuff…. you two definitely were my saving grace in my first minor league draft this offseason. For finishing 2 and owing people picks from last year’s trade deadline, I think put together a decent minor league system. I would love some input though.

Fraizer, Bellinger, Thaiss, Collins, Alford, Houck, Burdi, J.Sheffield ( loved his fake uncle), Perez, Cozens

Given that most of the top 100 from 2016 is either rostered or ineligible ( any big time makes them un-draftable), I think its decent group. Thank you for your advice and input.

@Big Time Timmy Jim: That’s a Big Time System Timmy Jim! Love this system, you have a top spec at every position, and even a 2017 draft kid in Houck!

@Ralph Lifshitz: Thanks, Big Time Timmy Jim! And agreed with Ralph. That is an excellent system for making win now trades at the deadline.

@Ralph Lifshitz: Thank you…. I followed your guys advice on all the positions and even picked up an MMA prospect in Cozens just in.

    Hi Ralph,

I need your advice. I’m in a 12-team H2H 10×9 category dynasty “keep forever” league and competing this year. My team needs pitching help.

    The cats are:
R H HR RBI SB K BB TB AVG OPS and IP QS W ERA WHIP SV+HLDs K/9 K/BB HRA

We keep 20 MLB players and have a 12-round draft every year.

I received the following offers where I trade:

    (1) DMurphy/12th round pick FOR Teheran/E.Diaz/3rd round pick; and
    (2) Murphy/Juan Soto FOR Quintana/Cody Bellinger

I feel like both deals are under-selling Murphy but maybe I’ve been drinking the kool-aid. Are either fair market value for a bat of his quality?

Which deal would you do – 1, or 2 or stick with Murph?

    Thanks so much!

    Ralph / Halp

    Good work on the podcast.

I lobbed a question on the Ralph’s Rangers prospect thread … I know it’s corny to say, but I at least wanted to post saying the podcast was good stuff ~
