For the month, he’s currently ranked behind Grady Sizemore (who hasn’t played since September 3rd), Cory Sullivan and Justin Maxwell for value amongst outfielders. If those names don’t sound familiar to you, they shouldn’t. They suck. Hold up, Albright. You’re telling people to grab Edwin Encarnacion and drop Markakis?

Our boy Timmy took a Lincecumbacker to the knee. Not good if you’ve been riding his amazing 12-3 record (for the Giants?!?!), sub 3.00 ERA, and 10 K/9 IP. He hobbled out of the game. We’ll have to see if he’s as bad off as our other favorite Timmy but start scouting pitchers just in case.
Please, blog, may I have some more?Joel Hanrahan had 2 saves yesterday in the Nationals’ sweep of Colorado 6-3, 6-3 as they decided to emulate a successful tennis player instead of a successful golfer for a change (hitting below par). Hanrahan set a new Nationals record for most saves in a doubleheader, series, week, and month.
