I love the choices of SS so much that I have two 2b now and no SS…

Aaron Hill and Brian Roberts LOL. Roberts slipped to 210+ in my league’s slow draft so I decided to take him. One of the two “should” end up being halfway decent this year right? Right? RIGHT? RIGHTTTTT? **smurf freak out**

@Wake Up: there are sure to be some "value". but this year it seems to be the year of the rebound. reynolds, hill, figgins, markakis, adam jones, even carlos pena (and i'm sure i'm missing out on a few) could be had later in drafts who most are projecting to do MUCH better than their ADP would indicate. Wieters as well, but most people still expect big things from him.

Is it just me or is there not as much “value” this year? It seems like everyone I like, everyone likes this year. Where is the CarGo in round 12, Rios in the 16th, Pence in the 9th, Scherzer in the 23th?

It’s not that I don’t like what I can’t pronounce…I just don’t like Brignac because he hasn’t done anything notable with the bat since he was in AA 4 years ago. His AAA stats of .267, 17 HR, 10 SB in 839 plate appearances don’t impress me…nor do his MLB stats so far. I’m fine with a 2 category player at SS, but Brignac is a no category player.

@Grey: Sadly, very little. @Asdrubal Bastardo: I think I read somewhere that the Royals were the 6th or 8th (or something) most likely team to attempt to steal last year, so hopefully this year is a more productive one for Alcides.

A possible reason for Alcides’ lack of steals last year could be that Ken Macha is notrious for not sending his runners. With Macha gone, and Alcides on the Royals, I see Alcides finally running (not to mention the Brew Crew as well).

mistake came ‘cuz i originally wrote in torii ,
then was unsure if spelling s/b tori .

so then , went back and put wells name in place of torii/tori
