@BKK: Um, no! Okay, partly, but dropping Nolasco is pretty much a no harm no foul move. No one's season is riding on Nolasco, especially not with his Zebo's pitching. BTW, Zebo, we're talking about you.

@BKK: I know you advised BSA against it but I picked up Nomar for Pierre when he went down and hearing Garciaparra would play SS with Furcal out. There are literally no shortstops to be had in this league so I took a flier on him and he has been decent so far – hit a 2 run shot tonight – if he shatters his hip – a distinct possiblilty – then we drop him and pick up some other schmo.

Caveat: This was before Greene was dropped today.

@Grey: I agree Cuddyer hasn’t done much and we don’t have much on the waiver wire although Francisco was just dropped, Edmonds, Greene the strikeout machine, I am just looking for a serviceable Util guy to replace Cuddyer. I was gonna grab Frenchy, but I was a little slow a the switch today and the guy behind me in 2nd grabbed him on announcement of his promotion from AA. Hey and someone just dropped Headley (The other SD strikeout Machine).

Its been a rough week, I lost Pierre, Ordonez, Cuddyer and Helton all in one week…we play with a 20 man roster… these guys filled my Util spots.

@BKK: Not sure who is on your waivers, but between Rivera and Cuddyer, I want Rivera. If you have other guys as a possibility, then they might be a better, but Anderson is cooked and Matthews is a defense replacement on a better offensive club. These aren't huge stumbling blocks. Rivera may not get time in every game, but Cuddyer had three home runs before he hurt his hand. At this point, I don't think he's worth having in any league.

How is Rivera going to get any playing time with Hunter, Anderson, Guerrero and Matthews filling either OF or DH holes? (I didn’t mention Willits for obvious reasons) I already dropped Cuddyer, just wanted to understand the logic here a little more.

@Tony B.: I'd take Young for the rest of this year. @mikeisalegend: Depends what position you need. I'd accept nothing but a tier two guy at any position except catcher. Say Tex, Carlos Lee, Uggla, maybe Fielder, those sort of names.

I drafted Pence in round 4 this past year in my keeper league, no chance I am keeping him at that round b/c he just simply hasn’t produced like I thought he would. I have been offered Delmon Young for him, a round 9 keeper Delmon Young. Do I make this deal now b/c maybe Young is finally heating up or do I stick with Pence the rest of the year?

@Grey: Yeah, problem is, nobody in my league wants Bruce. There seems to be a lot of outfielders in free agency around this talent level (10 team league). I am trying to pick out the ones who will have a strong second half. Do you think Nady has a more productive offensive second half than Bruce?

@SaltyBiscuits: Bruce is the only one that will get you anything on the trade market. Nady's best for this season is probably behind him and Wells has the longest history of success. If I were you, I'd try to trade Bruce for someone worthwhile then grab Wells. If trading is out of the question, then go with Wells.
