Ervin Santana was just dropped in a 12 team mixed. His FIP is around 4, and BABIP is like .428, signs that he should come around and at least be as good or better than any chump on the wire. I know you told us to sell a few weeks back, but he is worth picking up and stashing away for a few starts to see if he can figure things out, no?

Would you rather have him or Jordan Zimmermann? (Who also has similarly out of proportion FIP and BABIP numbers.)

Think I can pull this for Haren? The guy is contemplating it, he thinks his offense is stacked, and he’s sorta right, and this would give him Haren and Johan for his staff, a beautiful 1-2 punch… Its kinda win win…. I like my win better because with my staff i think i’m fine… losing 50 HR’s is tough to replace…

Burrell (neck) has felt better in recent days, but there’s no timetable for his return. “I keep saying I’m optimistic that he’ll be back, and by no means do I anticipate it being a long-term issue or a surgical issue or anything like that,” Tampa Bay executive VP Andrew Friedman told the St. Peterburg Times.

Recommendation: It was originally thought he could return from the DL last Wednesday and then he was set to test his neck on Friday. Neither happened and now it’s very unclear when he’ll be able to return.

DH Pat Burrell (strained neck)F Mickael Pietrus had a great series in reserve for the Magic. He finished with 14 points in Game 6. He outscored the entire Cavs bench for the series, 83-58. underwent a third round of injections to treat the injury and will have his status reviewed Tuesday.

Thanks for the input…just got an offer of his Morneau and Dye for my Adrian, Edwin, Downs and Bailey, accept? Saves are at a premium in this league, but Dye would go a long way towards solidifying my OF depth (until Manny gets back and Ethier remembers he doesn’t suck)

How much faith do you have in Aramis putting up decent numbers when he returns? Is he worth buying low or are shoulder issues not worth the potential upside?
