@Paulie Allnuts, The Silver Bullett Bandits were definitely one of 5 teams I considered. It was a tight battle. They had an advantage in some categories, trailed in others, tough decision. HRs and RBIs were too low. Of course, it’s all in fun, another day I may have decided their advantage in average and wins were enough to take the title.

@VinWins, Yes it is. Try two disasterous years in a row for the Commish. Good thing my fantasy column at Razzball isn’t for advice, although some poor souls still sometimes ask fantasy questions. Then again, many of us prolly read Eric Mack, and he is pretty far below me. Then once again, prollly he and most of those who are below me in the standings have abandoned their teams (sigh). Chris won’t give me back Trout for Beachy. Vin, I think that could be on your list of worst trades of the season, the equivelant of the Reds trading Hamilton for Volquez.

Sorry a bit late, nice column as always. Good to see the RCL at 104, 5 points ahead of the Faux-perts:)

Thanks for the write-ups as always. Always fun to check in and see how things are shaping up. Rudy has closed the gap and defintiely made things interesting in the Experts league, as we have been going back and forth the past couple of weeks. He should get Longoria back soon, while I am patiently awaiting the return of Matt Kemp to my lineup.

@Chris, Last year the ECFBL had 15,606 Ks in 17,673 innings, 680 Ks ahead of the next closest. Right now you have 6616 in 7281 innings.

Ahhh, that makes sense.

Because with all the relievers that are rostered in our league (probably close to 5 per team), I would imagine that we’ll finish with a good 1000+ extra Ks than the next closest league.

@Chris, Yeah, there are other leagues way ahead of the pace, so I’m sure that gap will narrow. When I did those stats on through Friday, The ECFBL had 878 starts, while RCL 9, for example, was at 1022. Only 223 more innings pitched though.

That’s pretty hilarious…and you’re probably right about how exactly they join the RCLs without even knowing what Razzball is.

Really enjoyed the forum topic on the total stats by category for each league. Though I’m a little shocked that the ECFBL isn’t 1st in Ks…and by a long shot at that.

Maybe we’re behind the GS pace?

Yea, my Thome and B. Moss WW grabs were responsible for 4 of those HRs. I need my regulars (looking at you Uggla and Hardy) to get mashing.

Now, if I’d have put Braun on my TV entry instead of De Aza it would’ve been a really nice week!

Woo Hoo! I made a round-up! Crazy that I got 8 wins and still barely made up any ground on One Man Wolf Pack in that category. His Dickey/Cain/Sale/Hamels combo has been pretty tough to beat. We’ve been going back and forth in Ks, but he deservedly takes the top spot in all pitching cats. (save saves) in our league right now.

I need a Rizzo call-up to get some pop into my line-up now.

Vin, do you have a link handy for the weekly team stats? I couldn’t find it searching through your site. I think I might add a “team of the week” to my weekly LM posts. Much obliged, keep up the great work man.

Who do you like better RoS – Brandon Moss, Gerardo Parra or Todd Frazier? I think the latter two are looking at a playing time crunch. 12 team mixed, pretty deep league. Thanks!
