@Ryan Carey, Thanks Ryan. Great start so far. Kemp + Adam Jones + Castro = Sick. Jones at pick 75 looks like a massive steal right now. We took him at 57 in the Yahoo F&F draft and I’m kicking myself I let him slide this far in this draft.

Talk about injuries. I lost Chris Young, Bret Gardner and Clif Lee within 3 days in my Yahoo league.

My RCL team is the above mentioned Manitoba Manwhores. I had to trade Roy to get a closer. I missed the draft and was given Joakim Soria, Drew Storen, and Ryan Madson.

I also rocking a Double A infield of Daniel Murphy, Willie Bloomquist, and Chase Headley.

And after all that…. I went from last place, to leading for two days this week.

@Ryan Carey, Yeah, that’s a wicked amount of injuries. Brett Gardner last week was my first real injury, so that makes a big difference. But “Experts’ are there to be picked on!

With that lead you have, I think you can coast the rest of the way. Especially with the weight of the whole Razzball community on the backs of Grey and Rudy!

@VinWins, Wow, that’s crazy on how bad my HR total ranks overall. I tend to value pitching more than most but it’s not like I’m rocking an ’85 Cards lineup – Arencibia, Votto, Alexei-Ram, Longoria, Pence, Choo, LaRoche, Stubbs, Rasmus, Frenchy, JD Martinez….I think I am in first in terms of % of Sonovabench HRs…I have 2 this year despite only have 13 HRs total and never having more than one hitter on the bench….

@Rudy Gamble, Thanks! Sure, you have to expect things will change soon. Your team has the 4th most RBI, but the fewest home runs. In fact, there are only 2 teams in the whole RCL with fewer HRs than you.

Way to throw a little shame E Mack’s way : ) Too be fair his team has been RAVAGED by injuries.

I am very happy that the great Lawr Michaels allowed me to pinch-hit for him in the Experts league this year. While I knew all of the names in the league, I am sure my competitors were saying “Okay – who’s this guy Lawr is sending into battle?” Well, I guess you could call me a member of the Rookie class of writers for 2012. Obviously hungry to showcase my skills as a player, I have been pretty locked in on this league, had a solid draft and have been mostly injury free so far. (Did lose Fister – turned into Peavy now). My lack of injuries has allowed me to sit on both Mike Trout and Trevor Bauer for now.

These leagues are a great testament to the great community Grey, Rudy and all of you have created here. THIS is what fantasy is all about! As a Forum rat myself, I think I’ve found a new place to come and visit when I’m not hanging out at my home address!
