@Grey: Yeah, I'll be stuck playing for 3rd in that league. Its funny because I did a friend a favor and drafted his team for him and he ended up being the team I faced in the semis. He did make a shitload of moves in the regular season so I can only claim 7 out of the 23 players on his roster. I should have 3rd locked up no problem, now I can "focus" on the RCL.

Actual conversation with my future brother in law today about his team…Dan- “Should I start big Z tonight? I’m up in whip, and down in all other pitching categories. It can really only hurt me to start him, right?” Me-”Seriously, you have to bench him. It’s not like he’s gonna throw a no hitter or anything. Thats really the only way it would be worth it.” Lucky for him, it all worked out since his opponent had Berkman, but it was kind of crazy watchin the zeros pop up on the box. Anyone wanna have the same conversation with me about slowey tomorrow round dinner time?

@BSA: Ethier's set to return to the team on Monday, so you should be all right there. I have no idea who's available as far as two starts go, but Kuroda, Slowey, Morrow, Aceves, Pedro, Lannan, in that order, are possibilities. I wouldn't touch Ohlendorf, if I were you. @p0rk burn: So you lost? That's it?

Stupid Brett Myers. My only consolation is that I would have lost even if I had started Shields and JJ yesterday. Hard to do anything when your offense craps the bed. I would have had a shot if Alfonso hadn’t been rained out. Eff you Ike!

Eh, Cassell will do fine. My thought is that he will land somewhere between Golden Boy Brady and mediocre – that is still pretty good. Belicheck ain’t stupid, obnxious and stubborn, but not stupid.

Alright – now I am switching over activities for the next twenty minutes or so.

As to everyone gone for the night I just made a similar comment in my weekly H2H league where it is the playoffs and not one comment.
