I’m also scratching my head about who to drop when Posada comes back. Bengie has done a commendable job behind the dish in his stead. Ideally I could sell one of the two, but there doesn’t seem to be a clear cut sell-candidate here. Posada is going to be undervalued because of his shoulder issues and I don’t think too many people bought into Molina’s hot streak. The travails of the make-believe-manager.

Also, as long as I am considering dropping people – What do I do with Greene at shortstop? There are a number of SS available and his two+ week slump looks great between Kinsler and ARam’s hot streaks.

Soto will cool off too, but catchers are a bitch to replace. (This runs contrary to Gray’s advice and, it’s true, if you have Navarro or Olivo out there, you have options. But you know how chasing saves and scouring the wire for relievers makes some people all tired and cranky and dirty-feeling? That’s how I feel about catcher-streaming. I’d trade a nut for Soto at this point, but then again, I have three nuts. Long story.)
