Um I feel like you are leaving out the fact that Bobby Crosby was the Rookie of the Year winner. There’s so much promise – the Pirates probably just doubled their season ticket purchases with this move.

About Lowell, I guess he’s an upgrade over Blalock, and insurance in case Chris Davis doesn’t pan out. I don’t know how his fantasy value is affected by the move.
