Just traded Lahair for Zobrist.
I need another good SP ( ugh Garcia) and someone just offered me Lance Lynn for Zobrist.
Kipnis is my 2b so Zobrist is riding my bench.

Derek Holland has lost 4-5 mph recently cuz he is battling a stomach virus that has caused him to lose 15 lbs. Wish he had told us sooner!

Holland is not injured, he’s just not feeling well. Holland has been battling — and pitching through — a stomach virus for about two weeks. Holland said he has lost between 10 and 15 pounds.

Hi Grey — In a 16-team roto league with daily lineup changes, what do you suggest with Rasmus? All things being more or less equal, I generally go with the hot hitter. Rasmus is coming off the huge game last night but facing a southpaw tonight, and he’s hitting .170 vs. LHP. Do I start him or wait until he faces a righty again (which is tomorrow: Peavy)?

I’ve got other options for the three OF and one UTIL slots (Victorino, Delmon Young, Bruce, Luke Scott, Stubbs) but I don’t want to miss another huge night.

And a couple of quickies: Are you still high on Rizzo? I was hoping he’d be up by now and it now seems like it could be three more weeks.

And when you have a good hitter whose struggling to find his groove (i.e., Krispie, Morse) do you take a multi-hit performance like yesterday’s as proof that they’re back? Or do you need to see more?

@Grey, Dunn…..? I just have this fear that he’ll stop hitting home runs and become good for nothing but destroying my average.

And Lincoln…. what’s ‘time being’? I know he was scheduled to make two starts this week, so they’re going to continue through next week? I’ve been using him for ERA and WHIP support as he’s got SP/RP eligibility. If he’s going to be starting for more than a week I think I’d probably let him go.
