I know he’s now a Latin 30, but remember the last second half he had in a contract year in Dodger Stadium no less: 356/26/65/56/6 in 74 games! Maybe get a stopgap until June, but if you have the room, hang on, or buy low to everyone else.

@Euroalien: Butler is still a young, talented hitter. I don't think that he's put it all together yet. He will, the million dollar question is - when? The fact that he qualifies at DH only and that he clogs up a utility spot makes him an unattractive play.

What’s the deal with Brett Cecil? His numbers look great through AA….when he reached AAA his walk rate doubled, then this year his K rate has been cut in half (in just 17 innings though).

Here' s the quote: Blue Jays SP Brett Cecil and SP Robert Ray have been called up from Triple-A to take the rotation spots of Brian Burres and David Purcey, respectively. Ray will get his first start Saturday against the Orioles, while Cecil will go Tuesday against the Indians. The second starts for both of these guys are questionable though, as SP Ricky Romero is likely to return from the 15-day DL next week.
