Hmm. My hitters are just as Grey-approved as the pitchers, and they’re doing fine…. Braun, Bautista, Pedroia, Bruce, Cruz, Konerko, Avila, Kipnis, Castro, then some waiver picks like De Ava and Reddick. I’ve been a little bit lucky, yes, but I guess I’m trying to say, I don’t do a damn thing without checking here first, and it’s working out great, on both sides of the ball.

I had to laugh at the Hosmer/Ike comment because in our league, the guy who wins more than anyone else — drafted both Ike and Hosmer, and he’s currently 8th out of 9. Meanwhile, I usually finish in the middle of the pack, but this year I’m in first place, largely because of Grey-approved SPs like Gio, Anibal, and Beachy.

@mauledbypandas, No doubt. There have been a few of us battling for the “First to the Wire” prize. I’ve won a bunch, but I’ve lost a bunch, too. Just seems that (at this point) my wins have been the right guess more often than not, and my losses were the wrong guess more often than not.

We’ll be playing this crazy closer game all season, though, so we should have ample opportunity to put my guessing prowess to the test.

In my H2H points matchup this week, i am currently losing to a guy who has been starting the following in his lineup all week long:

Torrii Hunter, who has been NA,
No one at 3rd base,
And James fucking Loney at Utility.

Also, he didnt start Lincey, Greinke, or Beckett earlier this week.

I could punch a smiling baby directly in the face right now..

@Grey, Thanks, Grey. I always forget to mention this, but we don’t have CI and MI slots, just 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, etc., so Johnson is basically the backup for Pedroia and Andrus with maybe a UTIL slot now and then.
