(You know Tex is a notoriously slow starter that may not get going for two months?) Victorino is better than Diaz, but he’s showing himself to be a bit injury-prone. I don’t think this is the kind of slam dunk trade you can get with Fielder, but, with that said, it’s a fair trade that I could see you doing if you needed some runs/steals. But read Victorino’s injury report a few times before you do this trade:

An MRI of Victorino’s (15-day disabled list) right calf revealed a strain, reports the team’s official website. The strain is less severe than the one which drastically limited him during last season, but the MRI also showed a slight tear in the meniscus of his right knee. He is hoping to begin running by next weekend, and could start a rehab assignment shorty thereafter.

Between the lines, he relies on his legs. His legs are giving him problems. What seemed fluky and a one-time injury last year, has this year been confirmed to be a recurring thing. I loved Victorino going into this year. He was still drafted before I wanted to take him. Let’s just say, I’m glad he’s not on any of my teams.
