I usually hate having to draft a lot of any one position. but atleast OF has the most available players.

saw an advertising blurb , the other day , for a new show on the food network .
this show is to feature some sort of competition between rachel ray and
guy fieri ….. it may even be some sort of team competition .

i , for one , am not going to watch it , ‘cuz i think that rachel ray is one of the cheapest bitches that i have ever seen .

i caught a couple of her shows , where she tries to do denver , or , seattle ,
or , portland , or , whatever …. on $40 a day … (breakfast/lunch/dinner) .

besides her “fantastic” advice of asking a local (on the street) where to eat ,
when visiting a city for the 1st time , this nit-wit has the audacity to walk into an establishment , order one crepe (with house special mango salsa , “that they make fresh here everyday”) ,
a 3 ounce glass of “delicious” orange juice , a piece of wheat toast with complimentary jam , and a glass of water …which brings her bill to $3.84 …
so that she can leave a tip of 58 freaking cents .
and all the while , chatting up the waitress as if they were best friends .

sometimes , on those “special” trips she’ll even bring along her husband , …(there’s another winner for ya) and enjoy a specialty cheese platter , a huge garden salad and even their own entrees .
not ONCE , have i ever seen them splurge for so much as a $6 tip for their
lavish dinner for 2 , that often features music played by local artists , and a complimentary “lovers” cocktail or dessert .

Leaning toward VMart. I expect at least a couple of decent 2Bs to be available in the draft (e.g., Zobrist) and I have a hard time believing that Konerko isn’t going to totally loose it soon. At the same time, I’m afraid VMart is only going to contribute in average and don’t generally like keeping catchers (although the DH role helps).

p.s. am not sure if you remember what i told you about his growth spurt ,
but am hoping that pineda is not being assisted by illegal drugs , and that he is , indeed , 22 years old , and that this spurt is ‘normal’ .

I’m fully expecting another tough season, but with absolutely no restrictions or penalties as to how long guys can be kept, it’s not that easy to improve.
