@RT: Very risky dude, If you cant afford to take the risk in WHIP/ERA I wouldnt start him. Pettite has been looking better also plus the Yanks are gonna start hitting eventually. I could see Burnett doing OK because he usually gets revved up for the Yankees but I could also see him getting shilacked today.

I wonder if anybody can give me answers on this one…. I recently made a trade in a Yahoo league that was supposed to go through this morning, however I just checked my league and the trade just isnt there anymore. It hasnt been vetoed but it also hasnt gone through, any idea whats going on?

@Grey: I am fully convinced that Barmes is a better pick up for the long run, but as I dropped Yunel and picked up Barmes yesterday, today, Brendan Harris is 3 for 3 with HR and 4 RBI, I almost did pick him up. Baseball is so unpredictable.

Yeah, for me it is less about Fantasy at this point and more about love of baseball.. . We are talking about one of the great young arms in the game. King Felix, Morrow, Marmol, Volquez. Their stuff is absolutely sick… Managers like Pinella — “Mr. Old School Make ‘em suffer to learn” should not be a part of the modern game.

@RT: I think he has something personal against the guy. Left him in there until the game was tied up just to make sure his ego was demolished. So much for the potential we saw out of Marmol last year. I'd put him in with Casilla in the category of MRs that were once good but are now shells of the potential they flashed. There's a lesson in there somewhere about drafting relievers early. By early I mean generally at all.

@VanHammersly: Lind, definitely. @Mike: I dropped Soria last year (for Dave Roberts!!?!) because Dotel was "just about to come back." He didn't, then when he did come back a few weeks later, he got traded to the Braves. Percival's 68 years old. He gets hurt throwing pitches, which is unfortunate, because THAT'S HIS JOB. Until someone else -- Balfour? -- becomes the clear non-Percival option, Wheeler should be held on to, unless, you know, you're dropping him to pick up Miguel Cabrera.

Would it be stupid to drop Wheeler before Percy comes back? I read Percival is coming back after the break. I could always use saves but Wheeler has only gotten me one save since Percival left anyway.

Who do folks like more as a flyer for the foreseeable future: Adam Lind or Matt Murton? Unless Billy Butler hits for average this weekend I think I will drop him because he is quickly becoming Bench Ballast.
