I have Izzy and Farnsworth. Is it safe yet to drop Parnell or Peralta? I’m leaning towards dropping Peralta, but I don’t know yet if Farnsy could be a waiver trade.

@YourMomsBoyfriend: Pre-2011 season, Perez was the Rangers number one prospect. MLB’s revised prospected list still has Perez over Profar (Perez is #8, Profar #14).

@MikeM: I’m not holding my breath.

@Mr2Bits: I usually have them around the beginning of the season and revise at the end. For example, I’ve liked Jose Altuve and JD Martinez. Other names that are lesser prospects are as follows: there is Nick Franklin in Seattle. Eric Surkamp in San Francisco. Brad Peacock in Washington. Randall Delgado and Arodys Vizcaino in Atlanta. Liam Hendrik and Kyle Gibson in Minnesota. Kirk Nieuwenhuis in New York (Mets). Neil Ramirez in Texas. Robert Erlin in San Diego.

I don’t actually have a list though. It would probably mirror many top prospects list removing defensive specialist ad high-contact low strikeout pitchers for fantasy purposes.

@PepeSilva: Not a huge fan. Mid-rotation contact/groundball pitcher.

Grammar police here. You’ve violated statute 703.114, sub-secion A: “Using an apostrophe to indicate possession in a singular manner on a plural word”.

To wit, your use of the word “Mayan’s”. Unless there was only one Mayan, then the correct way to indicate plural possession would be “Mayans’” with the apostrophe after the “s”.

Let me give you some examples to clarify:

“The American’s guns were confiscated before he entered Mexico.”

versus

“It was the untapped potential of the Americans’ factories and foundries which was the secret weapon of the Allied powers.”

This concludes this grammar teaching moment. Please carry on with your excellent work.

Bubba Starling is enrolled in classes at Nebraska but didn’t start practice with the football team this week. Still looks up in the air, but I imagine he’ll sign with KC.
