Sure, Vitters put up a nice year at AAA, but he’s a year & a half older than Franklin & you can’t ignore that. His ceiling is also quite a bit lower. I think Franklin starts next year at Tacoma & puts up some big #s before he takes over with the M’s in May or June. There’ll be plenty of hype around his call-up too, so trade value is potentially very high around that time. Franklin is hold & I think you can feel confident hanging onto him into next year.

I’m considering dropping him over Vitters off my farm team to pick up Gary Sanchez. I mean at least Vitters has hit at AAA, whereas Franklin isn’t even doing that. Plus hitting in Wrigley is far more favourable than the hitters graveyard of Safeco, think I heard somewhere that Safeco’s playing even worse than Petco this year for hitters.

Do you think Franklin could manage a 15-15 season next year in the majors at least? Still sticking to your guns that he’s worth holding over Vitters? :-) Think either way I need to scoop Gary Sanchez, here’s hoping I win the claim on him.

Machado will get 3B eligibility, but he’s a far better keeper than Rutledge, regardless. I’d try shopping Rutledge while his stock is sky-high.

Think he can continue to suprise the rest of the year? The talents clearly there, but he does seem to be a bit undercooked going by his age/ minors numbers.

Anymore big-time arms we could be seeing making a splash in the show soon? Whats the reason for Hultzens recent hiatus?

As for bats, im guessing Myers is still the next guy who can make a big impact upon reaching the bigs, though with his recent inconsistency might not be still sept. Still keeping an eye out for him then though, could be a very useful addition for my 16 team H2H playoffs.
