I’m going to thank you a second time around once the season closes up, but I felt the need to show some love right now.

I just want to flat out say thank you for all the help you provided this year Grey. I know you hear different variations of those words on a daily basis when you answer that Napoli is better than “insert any 15 catchers here”, but honestly, thank you.

Before I found this site in Dec. 2009, I had only one FBB season under my belt and I had no clue what I was doing draft day 2009. Fast forward one year and I was a freaking pro this year and I owe it 100% to you. Everything from SAGNOF to trusting pitchers who had terrible previous seasons. You made me look forward to weekdays and get bummed out on weekends. This site, so richly infused with all sorts of comedy, is impossible to replace.

Thanks to you, Rudy, Stephen, and Smokey I made it into the playoffs in 4 out of 4 H2H leagues and placed 2/12, 3/12, 3/16, and 4/12. Not to mention holding 3rd place in my first ever RCL for a good 2 months before dipping to my current 6th place.

You can rest assure that once the season officially closes, not only will I open up a PayPal account for the sole reason of donating LONG overdue money, but I’ll be sitting in front of my computer everyday, counting down the minutes until the headline reads ” Top 10 for 2011 Fantasy Baseball”.

Does anyone really believe A Chapman’s throwing 105 MPH? Reminds me of the all star game where guys that normally throw 95ish were suddenly hitting 100 on the ‘radar guns’. Still, its nice to see the Reds actually in a playoff hunt for the first time in recent memory.

In a 16 Team H2Her do you like Pelfrey or Chacin better for the rest of the year? I was going to drop Hanrahanananan for Chacin but someone just dropped Rodney (not really sure why) so I made a waiver claim on Rodney and am attempting to drop Hanrahan for him (won’t know until Wednesday if I get the claim).

Looking at the game tonight –
I know the sox are hanging on by a prayer – yet it is pretty remarkable to see these Triple A players stepping up for the club. Who had the RBIs tonight but Scutaro and Navarro. Navarro? Radio call in shows have been killing Francona for putting him in tonight and BAM Navarro says thank you for the trust.

I have Cory Hart at one of my utility spots — 12 team, 5×5 roto league with no bench, and he hasn’t been doing too much lately. I’m doing fairly nicely on RBI/HRs, but could lose some points if I don’t keep it up. Way behind on speed, but could pick up a point or 2 perhaps in the last weeks of the season. I’m wondering whether I should keep hart, E young Jr., or Will Venable for that spot — I only can keep one of them.

I was just doing a bit of research on some fringe starters in my league and this is how their starts break if they stick to a 5 day schedule:
Norris @ARI, @LAD, vs.MIL, @WAS, @PIT, vs.CHC
LeBlanc @ARI,vs.COL, vs.SF, @COL, @LAD
Kennedy vs.SD, vs.SF, @COL, @PIT, vs. COL, @SF
Wolf @CIN, @PHI, vs.CHC, @SF, vs.CIN, @NYM, @CIN
Bum vs. COL, @ARI, @SD, vs.MIL, @CHC, vs. ARI

Looks like Norris has the easiest schedule. Bum could be worthwhile if he pitches well this week vs. COL.

@Grey: Does Cruz’ return to the Rangers OF mean I should find a replacement for David Murphy? Lineups in this league are set weekly, so there is no “Grey” area. He is either in or out, and I’m not going to put him in if he only plays 3 or 4 of every 7 days. Also, a potential replacement for him on my bench is Burrell. I haven’t really been monitoring the Giants outfield situation other than noticing that they have like 5 of them. Is Burrell playing everyday? Would you start Burrell in place of Murphy?
