I think a pretty good estimate for Beimel ’09 would be the season that Chris Davis had in ’08.

295 AB, 51 R, 17 HR, 55 RBI, 1 SB .285 AVG .549 SLG

Again, the key is getting Beimel consistent ABs. MIL’s situation is not like that of TEX, which could slide Davis across the diamond.

now now…let’s not pick on my Wazzu Cougar Olerud. lol. I Love Gamel’s Bat, I just don’t see where he get’s into the Brewers lineup with that club he calls a glove. Maybe Selig could switch them back to the AL and he could DH. hehe…

@Grey: Yeah, without the, you know, talent or body mass. Picture John Olerud with catchers gear, but without the batting average or batting eye. Nah, picture Olerud with catching gear and instead of a career in baseball, he chose coffee as a profession. Somehow that doesn't work either.

I just had visions of playing catcher as a 13 year old and trying to throw out a runner trying to steal second. The ball sailed to the right fielder on a short hop.
