@Grey: I ask about Lind because I received a (my) Felix + Smoak for (his) Lind + Aardsma in my keeper league. Its 9x9 and I don't really need saves (I have Cordero/Qualls/Franklin) But I also have Teixeira, so Smoak could be redundant... This comment has the details of my league...

@Arthur O: Get used to it. Torre always hangs him out to dry. I've had Bills the last two years and it happens way too often. It's good for trying to steal a W, but it's bad for the ratios. Though it wasn't as bad as Nolasco getting the hook with two outs and the bases loaded and the guy out of the pen promptly gives him a two-earned-run mushroom stamp.

In a H2H .OBP league. Considering Jaso. I’ve got Soto (OBP .401) and Montero on the DL. Is he a better long term option than Soto and/or Montero? Jaso has an OBP of .423 and avg .307 thus far but I’m sketchy about the DHing and 3rd on the Depth Chart for C.
Biggest question though: is it pronounced Jaso or Yaso? Yaso will make me lean towards a pick-up. Gives me the chace to shit-talk about him to white-friends who go “WHO’S THAT?!?!?”

Nolasco seems like a no-brainer bench here…then maybe Hudson @ the Twins? And I’ve actually considered benching F-Her @ Tex just because of all my other nice matchups. Any thoughts on those, and maybe any others I listed? Thanks in advance!

Nunez and Fragu for Hamilton

Nunez for Cargo

Gregg and Fragu for Cargo.

I told him I would do the Cargo and he is hestating pulling the trigger but I think all these deals are fair. Correct?

How painful was the Chad Billingley’s outing on Saturday?

0 ER, 1.00 WHIP, 5 K through 6, in line for the W, then not only 3 consecutive singles, but the hook plus all 3 runners scoring. Ouch. Good thing he was on my bench for that one.

On the other hand, another stellar outing at home for Ricky Romero. Had to bench him due to the resurgent Pettitte, though.

In my 2 catcher, 12 team 5×5 league I picked up Jason Kendall when Pudge got injured. To my surprise, he’s been pretty good, even picking up a couple of SBs. With pudge coming back from the DL who will be a better option going forward, Pudge or Kendall?

Grey what are your general thoughts on Adam Lind for the rest of the season and beyond? His K rate in 2008 and 2009 was 18.1% and 18.7% and he’s at 27.4% now.

What gives? Was he a total flash in the pan? You think this is temporary?
