@chata: 1) First and foremost, he’s pitching @SEA, 2) He has shown ability to throw ground balls which typically reduces downside, 3) He has shown some K ability, and 4) You never know who’ll emerge as a strong starter for a stretch. Does Ogando have any history of endurance/success? What about Justin Duchs a few years ago? I see taking Ross in that game as a solid bet for that game. It’s not like i’m predicting he’ll pitch 200 innings…

what exactly are you guys expecting from tyson ross … a 59 pitch win ??
even at double A midland , he was lucky to get out of the 5th inning as a starter , and that was 2 years ago .

@bogbert: I’d start Bills and Yo-Ga. I have Yo-Ga in two leagues…can’t say I feel confident but he’s one you want to roll the dice on. He’s overdue for a 8+ K game.

@El Burro: I’d go with Ernesto Frieri b/c it seems like all SD relievers do well. I’m not very excited for any pitching prospects right now. Pineda and Britton were my top two but they started the year. Jordan Lyles profiles as good but not great. Julio Teheran has higher upside but the Braves have a lot of SPs so not sure he gets a call-up until late the year. I guess the pitchers I’d be most excited to see pitch (besides Teheran) are the Yanks’ Banuelos and Betances but I may have to wait until 2012 for that.

Anywho—should I drop Nathan for Boggs? Other closers are Kimbrel and Marmol but just about everyone else rolls out 3 RPs…I missed out on Capps – got out bid…Other options include – League,Aardsma or keep Nathan until he gets DLd.

Where do you guys do that? Yahoo? If so, how?
