Zobrist has been playing some regular ABs recently, is Maddon seemingly willing to give Zobrist some chance now? what’s your take on Zobrist situation?

Also in quartet of Getz, Coghlan, Kelly Johnson & Zobrist, what would you feel is the best combination from here on out?

My money is definitely NOT on Getz, that’s for sure…..

Gotta love that Loudon Wainwright III joke.

A big SONAVABENCH! to Jim Thome, who, on the first day I bench him all season, goes yard TWICE on me. Even worse, the guy I start instead (Balentien of all people) doesn’t even get to play. SONAVABENCH!

Just not a good day overall, what with Hochevar, Burnett, Masterson and Zimmermannnn starting for me. Sorry but I had to share.

I used the, “If you’re not starting him against the A’s, why is he on your team,” line to the guy who was leading ERA/WHIP in our league. Grey, thank you sooooo much for giving me this gem of a line, as he just dropped 5 points in the standings.

Dude cost me two points in both ERA and WHIP although F-Cord got some of that back.

At one stage today, I had 11 points in all pitching categories, except Wins.

That's, like, the whole streak, doubled. Wake me when he gets to 45. Like an aluminum pan of Jiffy Pop, Brandon Phillips is warming up nicely. Take that, swine flu! Sad note: I saw Colorado up 12-1, and instantly jumped to the box score to see how my boy Matt Holliday had contributed. Ah, muscle memory. Those were the days.
