@Grey: this is what i have done: I dropped J. Guillen for J. Willingham, dropped Galaraga (spot start flavor of the day) for Nick Swisher( wish I picked him up in time for 3 homers and 9 RBI), and now I am thinking about switching Willingham for Thome cuz I need more power. Should I?

@p0rk burn: I enjoy when the official scorer doesn't give the pitcher the win that should get it and gives it to someone else. This happened in a Braves game earlier this year. I think Acosta got the win when he shouldn't have. I enjoyed that in one league. EDIT: Typo

@Freak: regarding complete games and no hitters – my favorite/most irritating aspect is the pitcher that gets a complete game for a rain-out in the 6th. I’ve played in a few h2h leagues that score CG and one will usually win you the stat for the week. Which p0rkin’ pitcher in the MLB can’t last 6 innings on any given day? Jerks.

If you have not picked this cat up yet, you’re nuts. He just hit his 15th HR in 144 ABs. That’s one every 9.6AB (if my math is correct). That is absolutely insane. I don’t care how much he strikes out.

I’d suspect he is still a FA in most leagues.

Harang just struck out the side all swinging in the first…Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come, and i’ve traded for him at just the right time! Kemp looks to be going into a platoon situation with Ethier in right for the Dodgers once Andruw Jones comes back, so i’m pretty pleased with my Haren-Kemp for Harang-Markakis trade right now…

I just looked at my starting lineup today and noticed Chris Young is 3 for 6 with 2 homeruns against bush…do you start him over Lee,Quentin,Markakis or Dye? They all have 5 stars according to yahoo research with the exception of quentin who has 4 stars.

other stats…dye 0 for 2 against sowers…markakis 1 for 1 against greinke that being a homer.

@Grey: I'm sucking in pitching. Parra, Lowe, Andrew Miller, Daryl Thompson, McClung, Clippard, Jobacum... lots of middle relievers, too. I was going to pass on this trade anyway. I was only considering doing it because nobody will trade pitching in this league because of it's depth.

Volquez just came off a rocky start and he is not going to be as good as he was in the first half during the 2nd half. How bad will he be? Not sure, but too much risk involved. Great heads up on McPherson. You should put that in the forum.

@Grey: Thanks Grey… In my NL only keeper league the guy in 2nd place (i’m in 1st) offered me Volquez ($6) for Victorino ($1) and Fuentes ($12). With Fuentes on the trading block, it’s realistically just Victorino for Volquez.

Sorry for all the questions, but I have the day off today and I know you are there to serve the fantasy baseball public good. I could be mowing the lawn or working out or something, but pestering you seemed like a lot more fun.

*** Minor League prospect alert… I saw Dallas McPherson play in 5 games over the weekend against the Iowa Cubs. The man looks Country Strong, leading professional baseball in homeruns (27). If Uggla gets DL time, then Cantu could move over to play 2B, and McPherson to 3rd. I just picked him up in my NL Only league.
