Zimmerman got cast to the wire the other day, but apart from that, nothing much has wound up there.
I have four closers anyway, but being relievers-only, another can’t hurt. Even if Fuentes takes over I figure Corpas would have plenty of value as an MR – especially as my league counts holds.
After Lee and Gaudin, why would I doubt you?

@Steve: I don't think Corpas loses the job indefinitely, but I wouldn't be surprised if Fuentes (who hasn't been that great either) starts to factor in. This Rockies team thinks they can compete so they're going to do whatever it takes to win. If that means bumping Corpas, they might. But with all of that said, what are you going to do with your waiver pick? Is this league filled with people dropping good players? Do you really need saves? All I know is until Hurdle says Corpas is no longer the reliever, he is the reliever and if you have a #1 waiver pick, I use it on Corpas.

i LOVED velez but he’s been awful. i dropped him yesterday in one league for mark ellis. i’ve kept him in one league but only as a 3-day reprieve since they are playing the san diego ‘green light’ padres….

so disappointed. thought he could be a 40-50 SB steal. if he could only learn to hit/get on base….

time to cut bait on velez? right now i’m still holding on to him in leagues where i have a weak MI, but is he even worth the bench spot?

you pimped some good players this year. you’ve definitely helped my teams from being a lot grosser than they are. bourn in particular has been huge so far. thanks again for all info and opinions
