Ok so the guy who offered me the Saunders for Wood deal offered me up another and it was funny cause he wants Reyes which you said to try and trade. He offere me Yunel Escobar and Tim Lincecum for Reyes and Wood. Thoughts?

Why so high on Wainwright?

Which would you give? Right now I’m considering Ludwick because I just added power with Cabrera. I hate to lose the SB potential from Granderson or McLouth. Who’s more fluky? McLouth or Ludwick?

I'm still doubting Wainwright in LA. He's pitched me to tears for two straight starts now, and last year the only time he went to Dodger Stadium, he lasted 2.2 but had time for 7H, 8ER, 4BB but no K's. I have bad judgment though. @Steve: Nah, I already have a logjam in my offense. But it seems to me you don’t need both Devine and Perez, unless you’re in a league with holds. Otherwise, one speculative-saves guy is probably plenty.

Here’s my question: Justin Duchscherer? Just dropped in my league. Is he useful? More to the point, is he better than anyone in the back-end of my rotation:

Snell
Laffey
D. Cabrera
Westbrook (DL)

Don’t say Snell. You’ll just hurt my feelings.

For the record, the front end of my rotation ain’t so hot either. It’s Hamels and Cain and pray for Gallardo’s knee to magically regenerate itself.

@john: As stated above, I’m a Snelliever, but I can’t see what’s in it for Team A. They lose both the best player in the deal (Pujols) and the best pitcher (Hamels) to get Dice K and Snell (who may be a non-factor if he doesn’t turn it around) and Connor Jackson, who’s not a top 8 1B IMO. So basically:

Hamels > Dice K
Pujols >>> CoJack
And all there is to make up the gap is Snell?

Not even I Snellieve in that.

Pujols alone should get you Dice and Snell.

Team A needs pitching and gets: Dice-K, Snell and CoJack
Team B needs offense/pitching: Pujols and Hamels

I think team B does, but everyone does get what they want despite the Snellahaters..so its not lopsided.
