I have a really weird oral argument tomorrow in the court of appeals. One of the main issues is whether people can refer to a man as a “bitch.” I’m sure everyone here knows that this is common parlance, especially those who own Hanley or Choo or Dunn this year.

So I’m looking for examples of men being called “bitch” in the movies. I figured there’s something in the Wire, though I don’t have the time to review the series.

So can anyone think of a television or movie in which a man is called a bitch?

I was the one that dropped Hellickson that allowed you to pick him up.

The reasons? He hasn’t struck out more than 6 in any of his last 10 starts, he’s struck out 4 or less in 8 of his last 10 starts, and I haven’t started him in either of his last 2 turns (vs BOS, @ MIL) and wouldn’t have been starting him for his next 2 (vs STL, vs CIN). And his xFIP to this point is 4.50.

I really liked the guy, but he’s just not pitching anywhere near what his ERA/WHIP indicates. Who knows, maybe he’ll start pitching better as the season goes on, but right now he’s reminding of a lot of Pavano/Lohse types. Not a good comparison pitching in the AL East.
