While they had one more team, it’s as close as a comparison I can get. Grey and Rudy drafted about three closers and two MR. For the most part, everyone drafted three closers and 1-2 MR, with the MR coming in the final 2-3 rounds.

I don’t think 1 MR will do it in this league, so I’ll try for the same amount of RP Grey and Rudy had, with the exception being I’ll actively chase an above average MR (though not going to jump through hoops for Reed, Chapman or Jensen).

I finished in 3rd last year and in a position to contend this year.

but i would say try to get 3 closers and 2 MR’s (Grey talked about drafting two solid MR instead of a low tiered SP to help with WHIP and vulture wins/saves, so I don’t see why that doesn’t apply here, especially in a deep league with holds)…

as far as when to start drafting holds: when someone reaches for kenley or addison reed that should get your attention… but just like closers i don’t think you need top tiered MR’s, its pretty easy to pick up holds… during the season…

Matthew Modine! His best performance may have been his disappearing act in the ’90s. Coincidentally, he seems to have an interesting role coming up in The Dark Knight Rises.
