Cain is a solid pickup.

All three of your SPs are good K guys, and you’re in great shape as far as WHIP goes. Wins are impossible to predict, so I would just make your next three picks from the recommended groups and not worry about anything specific… just good value.

Assuming you know what you are talking about, I already rostered Dan Haren, Gio Gonzalez, and Ricky Romero. I had mixed feelings on Romero and he wasn’t on APPLES so I flipped him for a draft pick and turned around and traded for Matt Cain. I’m guessing the redundancy of lists after Haren means 1) Haren is a good SP1 due to how well he performs in all categories, thus allowing one to have more options with their other pitchers, 2) Gio Gonzalez and Matt Cain must both be good fits due to how their performance in certain categories match well. I’m assuming you know what you are talking about and that I’ve done well in listening to you (or your app or whatever). I figured I’m probably good with earned runs and walks (Haren and Cain) and I should make my next pitcher acquisition a guy with high strikeout potential to go along with Gio. Top it off with a guy who can tack on some wins and I should be good to go.
