Don't be shellfish...Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterShare on Google+

You never owned Aubrey Huff before, but going into your draft you glanced at your cheatsheets and saw Huff’s 2008 numbers and thought you really found something purdy.  You called your lady and said, “Baby, tonight we can watch any Kate Hudson movie you want, I got Aubrey Huff in my draft!” So you sat through Ten Things I Hate About Kate Hudson and Matthew I’m-Kinda-Gay and thought life’s okay, this movie will end and Huff will still be on my team.  Now you’re thinking about how you wish you had Gordo Sandoval and those two hours of your life back.  No fear, Flav loves reindeer.  Aubrey Huff hit .231 last May and .337 in June.  Then .332 in the 2nd half.  In 2007, he hit .309 compared to .258 in the 1st half.  Listen, I hate Huff.  Seems like he leaves 20% in the locker room, but he’s repeatedly shown to be a 2nd half hitter.  I wouldn’t buy him with Gallardo, but I think at this point, you don’t have to.  You can probably get him for very cheap.  Anyway, here’s some more players to Buy or Sell this week in fantasy baseball:

BUY

Mike MacDougal – I gave up on the Nats and their perpetually frustrating closerousel, but you, friend, you’re your own person.  I’d grab some Tagamet if you’re going for Macky D’s.

Ryan MadsonOh, but Lidge will return and then Madson will lose the job and…. Oh, Grey what do I do?!?! Pickup Madson, random italicized voice.

Ryan Hanigan – If you get an erection for longer than four hours after picking up Hanigan, then you should see a doctor, but he does have catcher eligibility and he’s been playing and hitting (.313 in June).

Scott Podsednik – SAGNOF!

Tony Gwynn – Batting .429 in the last 7 games.  I think his average ends up closer to Chris Gwynn than Tony, but he has speed to burn (not calories like his old man).

Juan Rivera – I debated whether to add him because he’s really just about any other random schmohawk outfielder on waivers with power, but he’s been hot.  He can probably out-homer Vlad on the season.  Though that’s less an endorsement of Rivera and more an indictment of Vlad.

Nick Masset – MR. B’s alert.  Masset has 23 Ks in 23 2/3 IP and has only given up 2 runs so far this year.

Gavin Floyd – I had every intention of putting Floyd in the sell section, then I started looking at his numbers.  Floyd has a 40/12 K/BB in his last six games.  His road/home splits are atrocious, so I wouldn’t start in away games, but I’d grab him in 12 team leagues for home games.  And that’s me semi-sorta-endorsing Floyd!  It’s a brand new day, Sting.

Russell Branyan – This Buy is for the guys in the back of the room.  He’s at 35/14/29/.317/2 on the season.  He’s currently showing Cantu what he can do when he do the voodoo he do.

Colby Rasmus – He’s on his way to a 20/10 season, which is yawnstipating in 10 team leagues, but there’s a place on it in deeper leagues.  If he gets the oh-so-coveted number two slot in the order in front of Pujols, his Meatballs To Hit Ratio will go up.  If he gets the cleanup spot, his future will be cloudy with a chance of meatballs, but his RBIs will increase.  This blurb was brought to you by Sony Pictures.

Clint Barmes – Over .400 in June… Near .500 over the last week.  Hmm… Those are kinda the same thing.  Hey, ya’ll, we got a new MI to pickup.

Sean West – Okay, in NL-Only leagues, but you’re basically asking to get tied to the WHIPping post in mixed leagues if you go West, young man.

SELL

Dan Haren - I almost made him the lead, but I didn’t want to panic people by doing one of my patent pending Sell Yells.  (It involves lots of exclamation marks and a title rhyming Haren with barren.)  Haren’s a notoriously weaker 2nd half pitcher, but it’s not like he becomes Sidney Ponson.  He’s just not as dominating in the 2nd half.  I wouldn’t trade him for a ticket to see Jersey Boys, but I would start exploring offers.  History tells us that the best is not yet to come.

Kendry Morales – Four!…Air ball!…Punt!

Nick Blackburn – 4.01 K/9 for Blechburn.

Geovany Soto – I told you to sell him the 3rd week of the season.  Well, he hit two homers this last week.  If you can get anything, and I mean anything (MacDougal, comes to mind), I’d do it.

Carlos Quentin – I’m contractually obligated to trash a White Sox player after I’ve trashed a Cubs one – The Abe Froman Peace Accord of 1986.  I think some time in August is a safe bet for Quentin’s return.  At which point, two things can happen.  1) He returns and he’s productive.  2) He returns, struggles and reinjures himself.  You may want to believe in one, but two seems more likely at this point.  For those who don’t know, before Quentin broke out last year, he was an injury-prone prospect.  You can change the spots but not the leopard, or whatever that cliche is.

Scott Feldman – He’s a solid number two.  I’m not talking about the number he is in anyone’s rotation.

I’m looking to upgrade my UTL spot in a 10 team league. I recently received Hamels in a trade and now have Billingsley and Hamels anchoring my staff. Would it be safe to trade Josh Johnson for Adam Jones or do you see Jones regressing in the second half?

  2. mgeoffriau

    mgeoffriau says:

@Grey – So you’re not buying what Fangraphs is selling on Soto? I’ve got Soto and V-Mart (occupying my 1B spot), and I can’t decide which one to sell.

  3. big o says:

timely article , cuz i have been considering dropping luke to pick up juan …. thoughts ?

also , contrarian that i am , madson will be closer for the phillies , on opening day 2010 …. and i don’t see him giving up the role , this year either .
to continue (see above) , am not buying into haren being any less effective for the 2nd half .

also …. rant ===> mlb package on my computer is a FULL batter behind the cbssportline scoreboard …. kinda takes the mystique outta the plate appearance .
and , for that matter , mlb tv loves to spoil the surprise with their “cut-ins” , as well .
what am i paying for ? old news ??
still , the pictures are pretty .

again , help with that scott/rivera decision , please .
thanking you , in advance .

  4. Joe from Point Pleasant says:

@Grey: Need 2 starters for H2H pts league. Who do you like and why? Here are the options available to me:

Zimmermann @ TB (Sonnanstine) – minor elbow soreness pushed his start back, tampa can obviously mash, but zimmz always gets you good K’s which helps alot in a points league

Willis @ PIT (Ohlendorf) – Pittsburgh has the lowest OPS and 2nd least runs vs lefties in the NL.

Hammel vs SEA (Vargas) – he is absolutely awful at home… awfulllllll!!! but so is seattle. however you mentioned that u would use him in one league…

Janssen vs FLA (West) – he has been very mediocre as a starter and gives up a ton of hits. that could hurt me in points league since every hit is -5 pts.

Feldman vs LAD (Wolf) – he has been so consistent, giving me 6 innings and 2-3 er every start, even vs the yankees. at that launching pad he is very scary though, especially vs a team that mashes, and gets to add a DH they don’t normally have.

Thanks a ton Grey! I am prepared to use whoever the heck you tell me to. Keep doing what you guys do, you’re the best around!

P.S. – the feldman joke had me laughin pretty hard lol.

  5. Bob says:
    (link)

Tommy Hanson — Should I start him tonight? I’m leaning to leaving him on the bench.

  6. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

@cruisinkc: I think it might be better to get a bigger piece for Hamels, but if you can’t get value for Hamels then Johnson for Jones is fine. But Jones will probably regress a bit.

@mgeoffriau: I’m not buying anything on Soto. Maybe he turns it around, but he’s still a catcher. There’s really no reason anyone needs to wait around for him. As for that article, what about his shoulder issues?

    @big o: I’d want Luke.

    @Bob: I’d start him.

@Joe from Point Pleasant: Punt? Those options are terrible. Willis and Janssen, but what happened to the Gaudin option? I’d go with him over Willis.

  7. Joe from Point Pleasant says:
    (link)

@Bob: I would start him considering the Orioles have the least runs scored in the AL over their past 7 games.

They have scored 12 runs, have a .216 average, and a .572 OPS.
You cant slump any worse then that…

Go for it, I know I am.

  8. mgeoffriau

    mgeoffriau says:

So com@Grey: So combining these topics, would Soto for Huff be a fair offer? The Huff owner is playing Napoli/Baker at C.

  11. Jon says:

Abe Froman? The sausage king of Chicago?

  12. ScoutAbout says:
    (link)

Hey Grey, do you like Floyd over Ubaldo. I like Ubaldo’s Ks but when I’ve owned him in the past I wince everytime I start him knowing it could blow up in my face. At least with Floyd you know when to start him and when to sit him. Also, do I still need Pena as a handcuff for Qualls? I also have Wilson, Franklin and Downs. I can’t add another SP until I can lose Pena. Thanks, Grey!

  13. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

    @Jon: That’s him.

@ScoutAbout: I’d keep Ubaldo over Floyd. Lose Pena if it’s clogging up your roster, but I’d hold him for a few more days to be safe.

  14. Mr. Rickey says:
    (link)

Drop Ervin Santana for Madson? Santana is riding my bench and I can always use a closer. The question is whether Santana can turn things around and I’m ready to let someone else find out – agree?

  15. mc serch says:
    (link)

Nice to see two of my recent pickups on the Buy list (Madson/MacDougal) and two guys I’ve been eyeing for a waiver pickup (Rasmus/Rivera). I’m parting company with Dukes (again) in favor of either Rasmus/Rivera/Reimold. I’m leaning towards Rivera for the power/avg. combo, the fact that he hits in a better lineup than the other two and the fact that he is a known quantity. Having said that, it seems like a few guys are going apeshit over Rasmus on this site and it appears that Grey floves (mash-up word for “fucking loves”) Reimold. How would you rank these three for the rest of the season?

  16. mgeoffriau

    mgeoffriau says:
    (link)

Holy crap, is Slowey dealing today or are the Cubs just swinging that poorly? 8 K’s through 4.2 so far….

  17. huff/soriano for c-bills/f.lopez??

it seems like you opened up a book of worms (is that the saying?) on huff cause i don’t think anybody knows his value

  18. martin says:
    (link)

how much would u give up for huff? would u give up juan pierre for huff? Also hanigan or john baker?

  19. What do you think of giving up CQ to get Stephen Drew?

I’ve got the soul sucking JJ Hardy at SS and my OF is Jones, Markakis, and Ethier

  20. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

@martin: I’d give Pierre for him. Hanigan until Votto returns. Or at least for the next week, whatever comes first.

    @naughtandcross: I’d take Drew there.

  21. Jobu's rum says:

Has anyone heard what the Royals will do at 2B once Gordon comes back? At the start of the season it was going to be Teahen but he’s been covering 3B with Callaspo at 2B. Who’s at risk of losing job?

  22. Falcon says:
    (link)

Is Hart for Soto in appropriate?

I get Soto in that one, to upgrade Pierzin-sucks.

  23. Greg says:

Pick up Podsednik and drop Dukes, Reimold, or Bourn?

  24. I'm Keith Hernandez says:

Quick response needed, Hamels or Josh Johnson for the rest of the year and by how much, Thanks!

  25. SirGoodtime says:
    (link)

    thanks grey!
last week i traded for ervin santana on your advise, and gave up a pitcher in your buy category! woohoo to flip-flopping.

  26. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

@Jobu’s rum: I haven’t heard anything. I’d guess Callaspo would be the odd man out.

@Falcon: It’s fair either way. I’d prefer Hart.

@Greg: Lose Reimold if you really need steals that bad, but Bourn and Podsednik on the same team isn’t the way to go more often than not.

    @I’m Keith Hernandez: Hamels.

  27. bobbo says:
    (link)

@mgeoffriau: Spoke too soon. Slowey just pulled a Javier Vazquez on us. 5 stellar innings, then lays a dump and kills his line.

  28. Corey says:
    (link)

Slowey is really doing well today. 10 K’s. I’m pretty glad I’ve had him and baker, those aces! (ha!)

  29. mgeoffriau

    mgeoffriau says:
    (link)

@bobbo: Yeah, but 3 runs isn’t too bad….unfortunately he’s already thrown 98 pitches so it’s unlikely we’ll get many if any more innings out of him to cut down the ERA.

  30. RogerDorn says:
    (link)

hey grey, thanks for the advice on ervin santana…last week you told me to trade for him, now i did, and hes a sell? and the guy i traded him for is in your buy list??

    heres to flip-flopping!

Have a drink on me for your insight! (or just get a real job)
dont worry, ill get a life and stop visiting this site/joke of a career.

    THanks!

  31. Falcon says:

@RogerDorn: Wow dude, it’s not like he wild thing’d your wife.

  32. Corey says:

People like above take the fun out of life sometimes.

  33. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

@RogerDorn: What, Floyd for Ervin? Floyd who I said above was a cautious Buy? Ervin who I’ve been saying to sell since before he returned? Okay, sorry, for telling you my opinion on a trade. I’m a bad person.

  34. bobbo says:
    (link)

@RogerDorn: Learn to make your own decisions. Grey isn’t running your team.

  35. Jobu's rum says:

I hope that guy is kidding. If not, $10.00 says he’s Perez Hilton.

  36. Commish Cauda (formerly Mike) says:
    (link)

I’m going for a title this year, and I needed pitching and Soto was my catcher. So earlier today, (before I read this article), I made the following trade in my 16-team H2H-Points keeper league:

    Gave up:
    Rick Porcello (keeper eligible)
    Mat Gamel (keeper eligible)
    Giovanni Soto (not a keeper)

    Got:
    Dan Haren (not a keeper)
    Jorge Posada (not a keeper)

I am not sure how I should be feeling right now?

  37. The Fans are in a tizzy,
For their team is all dizzy,
Now only the bench can play.

    The owner keeps moaning,
    And the manager is groaning,
Its all very day to day.

On Span! On Cantu! On Votto!
    ‘Mum’s the word’ my motto,
But it should be safe to say:

    You guys are the reason,
    Oh what a sorry season!
Ninth place is where I stay.

  38. Mr. Rickey says:
    (link)

Drop Span for Podsednik if Span is too dizzy to play next week? I also have Dunn, Victorino and Hart in the OF and no room on the DL or bench. Hart has been lame but you seem to be holding out hope for him.

  39. @Grey:

Beats banging my head on the desk, heh.

  40. Should be an ‘is’ after ‘Mums the word’ btw.

  41. Commish Cauda (formerly Mike) says:
    (link)

How about Adam LaRoche for Huff?

  42. Jobu's rum says:
    (link)

@Grey: I started Volstad against the Cards and he got shelled. Now my girlfriend has left me (no she didn’t), a dog raped my cat (don’t have a cat), and I can’t find my hitter box (oh, here it is). This is entrely your fault. You must be a horrible psychic. What’s wrong? Did Biff steal your sports almanac or did you leave it in the DeLorean? Screw you guys, I’ll just ask Berry and Karabell instead!!!

  43. vinko says:
    (link)

Cain and Qualls for Crawford, or is that too much?

  44. Commish Cauda (formerly Mike) says:
    (link)

Points league. I own A-Rod. 2-part question, if you please: (1) Which side in each trade do you prefer?: (2) Which trade do you like more, A or B?

    (A) A-Rod & Kelly Johnson FOR Dustin Pedroia & Ian Stewart

    (B) A-Rod & Kelly Johnson FOR Alexei Ramirez & Ian Stewart

  45. Corey says:
    (link)

Does Chipper for Aubrey Huff sound fair?

  46. cubbies299 says:
    (link)

You dropping Morales for Rivera? Also, should I be picking up Hanigan over guys like R. Hernandez, Chris Snyder? I have Ianneta so it’d be nice to have someone to play while he’s getting revved up

  47. G says:
    (link)

Couldnt get Youkilis straight up for Soriano so how about giving up Soriano and Floyd to try to get Cabrera. Am I giving up enough and is it fair?

  48. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

@cubbies299: I’d want Ramon over Hanigan. Rivera over Morales.

    @G: It’s fair and worth a shot.

  49. jbatkins says:
    (link)

Alright, I pulled an all-nighter last night and still haven’t gone to bed, so someone please confirm I’m not in some sleep-deprived level of insanity when I want to go pick up Rafael Furcal at MI when Kennedy, F. Lopez, Callaspo & Fontenot are all available. I just wish he didn’t get a game a week off…

  50. G says:
    (link)

or am I giving up too much since Floyd has a bright future for the rest of the season. I can also give up Soriano/Hardy or Soriano/Chris Davis or Soriano/Scott to get Miguel Cabrera. Which one do you like?

  51. PWNightmare says:
    (link)

I buying Thames at the moment. He in the past he has put together some pretty nice part-time stats and with the TIgers outfield where it stands now, if he can stay healthy coming of his seven-week DL stint, he should be able to get plenty of playing time in the second half as either an OF or DH. I have the spot on my bench and I gotta try and be one step ahead of the guys in the RCL. Opinions?

  52. PWNightmare says:
    (link)

By stats, of course, I mean HRs.

  53. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

    @jbatkins: Take Furcal there.

@G: I’d give up Scott, Hardy, Davis, in that order.

    @PWNightmare: Worth a shot for a week.

  54. Ernie Imbroglio says:
    (link)

Here’s a shocker… Don Kelly is indeed batting third for the Tigers tonight. I guess that White-Out and Xeroxing gives Leyland more time for smoke breaks.

  55. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

@Ernie Imbroglio: Wow, are you serious? That’s insane. Not sure what he’s smoking, but I’m beginning to think it’s not cigarettes.

  56. Ernie Imbroglio says:
    (link)

Also, Ortiz at first, Youk at third and Lowell on the bench for the Nation v. the Phils. Guess which one I have.

  57. BigFatHippo says:
    (link)

@Grey: Drop Randy Wells for a bench player?

    Available: Thome, (Acch)tkins, Thames, C Guzman…

  58. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

@BigFatHippo: Eh, do you need any of those bench hitters? Wells gets the White Sox next, which is a better matchup.

  59. BigFatHippo says:
    (link)

@Grey: Sigh, just looking for an excuse to drop him I guess. Only thing worse than having a Cubbie on my roster is having a really bad Cubbie, which is what he could turn into.

I guess Thames wouldn’t exactly be an upgrade over Nyjer or Dreadlock the Pirate would he?

  60. BigFatHippo says:
    (link)

@Grey: I was offered Kershaw for McCutchen and turned it down. Any hope for Kershaw in 2nd half?

Sorry for the barrage of ?’s, just trying to solidify for the long run.

  61. Grey

    Grey says:
    (link)

@BigFatHippo: I’d take Kershaw there. Kershaw and Scherzer are very similar. The Dread Pirate can be found on waivers.

  62. BigFatHippo says:

@Grey: Damn, I’ll offer it back. Kershaw’s ERA and whip scared me away.

Love the blog Grey despite the fact it has caused me some dirty looks from co-workers when laughing at 9am.

It appears you have Jim Leyland figured out, Don Kelly is taking the place of Clete Thomas in the 3 hole tonight. I guess Leyland can’t be bothered to make a new lineup card and only has enough white out for one slot every two weeks. If only Matt Joyce was still a Tiger, he would be a fixture there after getting off the shuttle from AAA.

You took a risk (that’s if trading someone like Floyd can be considered risking something), and apparently you’re not happy with the result at this point. Team A Gives:

Jose Lopez, Hanley Ramirez, Alfonso Soriano, Garrett Atkins

    Team B Gives:

Derrek Lee, Alex Rodriguez, Jimmy Rollins, Jermaine Dye.

  191. So, sell Quentin, but would could I possibly get for him at this point?

  192. Atomic says:
    (link)

@Maitland: I am thinking of moving Quentin too. My league is 12 team mixed, w/3 OF, and I think the trade value of OF’s are pretty low. I picked up Dukes, Reimold, Rasmus to fill in for Quentin off of waivers. Pretty much everyone has 3-4 OFs that are useful, making an iffy injured guy not so appealing when decent guys are on waivers. I may try to get a mid-range closer or starter for him.

  193. paulzone says:

  194. Nick0rz says:
    (link)

@paulzone: Im thinking setup, and he might vulture a save or two if Fuentes struggles at all. He was the closer for the Jays a way back when, and he wasn’t have bad at it. He might be used in long relief if need be, but if they’re putting him in the pen it should be to try and solidify it in high leverage situations.

I’d grab him and see how they use him for a week or so.

Yo grey, I want to thank you for a question you answered to Steve the other day. I was on the fence about starting Erv @TB. I sat him in his near-CG start the game before. On one hand, I wanted to play him to potentially get some return on my tragically bad investment. On the other hand, I wanted to sit him to justify sitting him on his great outing.

My attitude was “fuck it, roll the dice”, since anything up to and including a run every 2 innings would have helped my ratios. But Lackey’s performance the night before and your comment about it being a bad matchup convinced me to keep it in my bench.

My question is this: Why are the Rays at home a bad matchup? Is it just a function of their lineup, is it a hitter’s park, is it the time of the season? Give me a cross-section of your brain.

  228. jbatkins says:
    (link)

@Robert: If you have extra pitchers, I think it’s a fair deal (although I’d make sure you get Ben Zobrist – don’t let him fool you and give you this “Zorbist” guy). The important thing to remember with Zobrist is that he’s bound to lose some time in that lineup now that Aybar and Brignac are getting some burn), but since Zobrist plays basically every position, and since he’s been so hot, I think they’ll continue to play him more often than not, and he’s a solid, solid player, says I.

My only response was Vernon Wells. Ugh, right? Or can he be better?

    @Mark: Go with Sean-Rod.

@Robert: Porcello’s not enough, but you can try, I wouldn’t trade Garza for him though.

@knighttown: Drop Peralta for him. Bruce for Wells is fair, I’d prefer to stay with Bruce.

    @martin: Huff

i am a commissioner in a yahoo league – trades were getting veto and I felt they should not get veto – so I wrote that I trust everybody in this league to do the right thing and all trades went through right away

now comes the problem I ddin’t expect sometime like this to happen – I imagine on the 11th of this month there was a trade offer –
    Nick Markakis for Jake PeavyDL

    then this announcement came
    Jake Peavy-S- Padres Jun. 12 – 7:17 pm et

Jake Peavy will miss at least a month of action due to an ankle injury, according to MLB.com.

Peavy’s right ankle will reportedly be in a cast for a full month

at 12:03 am on June 13 the trade was accepted

one manager was jumping for joy here – since to him this now was truning into a deal to good to be true and the other manager was out for the evening since not everyone can be glue to the TV 24 hours a day and felt the way I set up the league there was nothing that could be done at this point – one manager took advantage of another manager here due to the league rules I set up – because I wanted trades to go through – you know once trades start getting veto – they all seem to get veto and takes alot out of the league – I never expected this situation to happen – I felt this was not right since we all are here to have fun and I always felt the best way to win was on your draft and your pickups and not on a mistake made by another owner or commissioner – so I reverse the trade – what would yo guys do here – One manager who is in 12th place is complaining but this is the team that was involved in the original trade that the league veto and thats why I had to change the rules at that time

Grey, what do you think of trading Cody Ross & Clayton Richard FOR J.J. Hardy?

I know it’s a bench fodder trade, but I could use the open roster spot for when Smoltz comes off the DL next week. And though Tulo is hot right now, he’s my only SS and I’m not ready to trust him, so Hardy’s depth couldn’t hurt.

Ross is just hot again, so it gives me pause. My OF’s are Braun, Cruz and Lind, so Ross would only crack my line-up at DH up against Adam LaRoche.

Figure i’ll give hardy today yet then make a decision. He’ll probably go 1-4 with a R. Stupid JJ. I like sanchez’s avg and he’s batting 3rd in a crappy lineup but 3rd is 3rd right?

I lost Reyes to the DL & picked up Andrus as a stop gap. Also have Felipe the super sub Lopez. My team has dropped to a last place tie for sb’s. Would you agree my staff is deep enough w/ Cbills (non-keeper eligible), Gallardo (7th rd), Wainwright (17th rd), Lackey (6th), Slowey (19th) & Baker (14th) that I can afford to dish one of my #3-6 for Al. Ramirez? & is it worth adding in madson or gregg as a throw if I need to sweeten the deal? 11 team 5×5, get to keep guys for next year in their 09 draft round.

@Roger Dorn’s Nemesis: Thanks for donation! Sounds like the other owner is asking for too much.

    @Tom: I wouldn’t trade him for Nunez.

@steamer: Seems like he is the closer, unofficially. I could see losing Floyd for him.

@Grey: Would try to trade CJ Wilson and Aardsma for Cordero (owner of Frank)? Wait or strike while the iron’s no longer cold?

@SRM: Wilson and Aardsma can get you more saves than Cordero. I wouldn’t do that trade.

@Grey: Would you pickup Barnes, Blalock, I Stewart and drop Lowell as 3B while A Ram is down? Also Napoli has been a bum lately would you take a shot leaving him on waivers in 10 team and go with Hanigan or Sandoval?

Sean Rodriguez again didn’t get to play today. Is there any point having him on my roster? Worth dropping him for Justice Bloomquist?

@Nick: Go with Sandoval and I’d hold Lowell.

    @DrEasy: I’d give Sean-Rod a few more days.

@I’m Keith Hernandez: Beltran, Lee, Sparkakis. Greinke, Haren, Lee.
