1 move left...15 team league

Leading by 3.5 pts.

Only offensive cat I can move up or down is HR, who is my best bet for the next three days:

Start two of three: Rizzo/Pujols/AJax
Start one of two: Aoki/Bruce

Pitching: I can move up in IP, W, K, K/9
I can move down in L, WHIP
Take a shot on Erasmo tomorrow @OAK or Wood on Wednesday vs Hou?

Got a keeper question for ya. I'm in a points league that allows 5 keepers per team without the loss of picks. Teams can keep a 6th at the loss of their 1st and 3rd picks. As a rule at least 1 pitcher and 1 bat must kept. I have Harper, Heyward, and Castro locked in for the next decade or so. I have to choose from Cain, Wainwright, Dickey, Howard, and Utley for the other 2 or 3 spots. My 1st round pick is going to be 11th or 12th overall so I'm leaning towards keeping 6. What would you do?

@TheNewGuy, i have also thought jennings was overrated coming into this year, and i usually love to draft rookies too early. That's is why i have stayed away from him and haven't had to deal with his sucktitude. However, i would certainly be willing to take a chance drafting him in a more reasonable round in the future. Remember, he is a young top prospect with about 1/3 of a season's worth of mlb experience coming into this year. in ~190 games already has 23 home runs and 49 steals. not having longoria in the lineup will obviously hurt his production as well.

Thoughts on Greinke@ TEX Sunday with what appears will be a ~12 MPH wind out to right?

I guess if you're striking everyone out it doesn't matter.

It's those follow up relievers after he fries his arm for the day that worry me.

Also Lynn vs WAS if WAS doesn't clinch today and is at full strength? If they clinch it'll be a AAA team but if not they're looking scary.

@TheNewGuy, What I meant is Ellsbury and Jennings are big names, but not necessarily the most ideal candidates for steals on the wire. I too drafted Jennings everywhere and he has been a massive let down. But I do like his chances of stealing a bag over Ellsbury, even though he gets Chris Sale today...

If there are better SAGNOF options on waivers I'd go with them, but between Ellsbury and Jennings, for speed I'd want Jennings.

@TheNewGuy, What I meant is Ellsbury and Jennings are big names, but not necessarily the most ideal candidates for steals on the wire. I too drafted Jennings everywhere and he has been a massive let down. But I do like his chances of stealing a bag over Ellsbury, even though he gets Chris Sale today…

@Blairtch, Highest profile basestealers? Jennings has 29 steals...sorry but I just think he is massively overrated, that .248 AVG does not cut it for a speed guy. Not having a go at you just annoyed with myself for believing the hype and drafting him this year.

Thanks for the advice though, ll stick with Jennings for now.

@Adam, You're right he hurts your in H2H a lot more, but with all the injuries he's battled this season it's pretty impressive to me that he managed 36 HRs. This was a guy who's knee issues were so bad to start the year they thought he'd be taking every other day off, but he fought through it.

I think he might be like a Josh Hamilton, ie the injury risk is worth the award. There are few power hitters better, and the best seems yet to come with Giancarlo (can you say 50 home runs?) Third round seems right around where he'd be drafted, so its not a value pick or anything but I'd definitely want him if it was my team.

Draft Stanton, but expect him to miss 1 months of games? What's the over under on games played for next year? He really screwed me in the semis of my head to head league. I can keep him as a 3rd rounder if I feel like it.

@TheNewGuy, Those are certainly two of the highest profile basestealers in the game, but I'm not sure they're your best options. Is Rajai Davis, Everth Cabrera, Jean Segura or Cameron Maybin could be just as good bets for SBs.

Out of Desmond and Jacoby I'd go with the guy who's not nursing an injury, Jennings.
