@p0rk burn, @wakeNbake: Based on what I have seen so far this season, I am not sure Putz or Soriano make to the end. Neither have been that good when they were pitching anyway. P0rk you are probably right with Guardado over Morrow, Seattle is such a mess (Like Hippo said).

Seems like guys are hanging out here more than in the forum?

Did you check out the Tigers and Padres 2-2 after 7_1/2 all solo shots. Crazy.

@BKK: I currently have Wainwright and Rafael Soriano on the DL. I only have Soriano as a handcuff to Mike Gonzalez...so Im thinking of dropping Soriano for Wang. Seems like Soriano may be hurt all year, but Im lagging in saves so I have a decision to make. My league is very competitive, the only pitchers out there are guys like Radhames Liz, Luke Hochevar, Jeff Francis so Wang could be a nice boost to my pitching later on. Thanks man.

@WakeNbake: The owner in my league did. He’s a Yanks fan too. He also has 3 other guys on the DL. But we have lots of pitchers available so I would say it depends how deep your league is. Wang is out for at least 6 weeks. So you are looking at August before he plays again. If there is value to be grabbed then go get, if not, DL him.

@Everybody on the Morrow train: I’m going to go against the gospel of Grey with his “pitchers with arm troubles” but they are saying Putz is already throwing. According to biased sources there wasn’t serious damage, just inflammation. Granted, the Ulnar nerve is kinda important to a pitcher and there isnt a whole lot that makes you think two weeks off will repair any damage, but you know, cust kayin’. Morrow is going to lose the position (at least for a while) when JJ comes back until the toothpicks break.

League is shallow enough to check out free agents. We have more roster spots in my 10 team but there’s still Masterson (Schilling gone, probably stick if he keeps pitching well). Lester(ditto), Wandy(only at home).

May be time to start a Cleveland Streamer, see Razzball Glossary, top left.

Your OF isn’t deep enough to lose Maggs, Beltran or Nady. Kemp’s a good bencher. Bruce just netted me Harang, try that.

Grey is on a buy low tirade over Harang right now.

And don’t ever overvalue hitting.

Roto 12 team. Standard Yahoo scoring. Pretty middle of the pack in all cats. I have fluctuated between 4th and 8th over all. It’s pretty tight. I am within 30 points of first in seventh as of this morning.The only moves I have made so far(again in a week or so) was picking up M. Gonz. My thinking is trading OF for SP, but again I am not sure the conversion rate so to speak. I tend to over-value hitting at this point.

I just took this team over a week ago for a friend who got shipped overseas. It’s my second year ever playing, and this is my second team. I have played FF for years, but am just now getting the hang of fantasy baseball.
