2 questions.

1. Starters. Four of my starters are Greinke, Gio, CJ Wilson, and Anibal — those guys start every time. My fifth slot is divided up between, potentially, Wandy, Marcum, Beachy, Worley, & Latos. What’s the optimal strategy here? Will Latos be solid enough for a permanent slot? Spot-start Wandy and someone else?

2. Relivers. I have Casilla, Rodney, Aceves, H. Rodriguez. Same question: I can only use 2 guys a day. Should I just be spotting all four of them or pick 2 and ride them? What’s the ranking there? It’s useful to have 4 guys for lighter days and stuff, but if I had to drop one guy, which one?

Actually got him for Capuano from a relatively panicked owner whose pitching is terrible. Favorable combo of ill-informed owner + underperfoming Reyes + sell high pitcher (plucked off waivers). Now if only my team BA was higher than .245…

I don’t know how to take this comment. While I generally agree with it, I am part of a 10-team mixed league and have a 3.80 ERA with the following pitching staff:

Papelbon
Betancourt
Casilla
Santos
Capuano

–I drafted to make sure that I didn’t have a sh*t ERA/WHIP, but things haven’t worked out so well to begin the season.
