I’d DL Pablo if you have the room otherwise I’d drop him for Middlebrooks. I wouldn’t hesitate to drop Plouffe for Soriano, Stubbs or Snider either. You could use Soriano’s power. As for Wieters, you have Pierzynski so I’m not sure I’d roster two catchers if there is a hot bat out there on waivers but AJ has been battling an injury, too. Lucky for you Adrian seems to be getting his groove back

Soriano probably carries the least risk, whereas Marte has a ton of upside. I’d say Soriano has a better chance of reproducing the stats Plouffe would have given you. But if you need speed Marte is worth a look.

If the trade went thru I would have Rizzo and 1b, Laurie 3b, Mous 1/3b with an OF of Braun, cargo, Bruce, trout, Victorino, Ethier inc utility.

Do I make this trade or sit. Currently 2nd need to improve offensive numbers for the run home

upton will cost $42 next yr

lawrie will cost $6

that means lawrie in his prime for about $8-9. can I trade upton to get lawrie considering I am in complete rebuild mode?
