@Grey: Yeah, that makes sense, but it is a 2 catcher league so I wanted to get out with one. In a real draft I probably won't ever draft Mauer in the first round though.

hah, there was some big turnover in the league…so about 5 teams became available. The other 11 managers remained intact.
i guess the commish was anxious to get the “new guys” in there and settled with their keepers.

we get to draft 6 majors players…and then 6 minors.

I dont think there is much pitching out there…after i took utley…the other 3 managers took, lince…johan…beckett…

now, the best FA pitcher on the wire is wandy/jurrjens/billingsley/etc…(b/c the other managers held onto the great pitchers/elite hitterS)
ahh! oh well…guess i can just go offense heavy the entire draft…then hope for a trade in-season…or that i can just go pitching heavy when the real draft (and the rest of the non-six keepers) are chosen…

@Pjtres: if this is one of those cbs leagues , pitching is the way to go . especially high strike-out pitchers . though saves @ 8 points , instead of 5 , is awfully attractive .
