@C.O.C.: For a game to be considered "perfect", not a single batter can reach base. That includes errors, HBP and walks. So even if he struck someone out and they reached base because it got past the catcher (the pitcher didn't have a hand in the events that led to the batter reaching base), that would still lose the perfect game for him.

@anyone: Not much fantasy relevance here, but curious….So I was watching Santana’s no-hitter today, and seeing the box score with a run against him (due to error) made me wonder. If he wouldn’t have walked a batter and still allowed no hits, would it still have been a perfect game? And if so what about if someone pitched a perfect game but lost 1-0 due to errors? Still classified as a “perfect” game?

Rickie Weeks left Wednesday’s game in the second inning with a left ankle injury.
Weeks landed awkwardly on the first-base bag after beating out an infield single and had to be helped off the field. Replays showed that he badly turned the ankle and he was unable to put any weight on the foot while being escorted to the dugout.
