Anibal Sanchez.....!@#$%^&*............!@#$%^&*)(*&^%$#%^&^&*.............#@%$$&^*^#%#&^%^(*!!!!!!!!

Thanks for letting me vent.

The good news.....I benched him today.

The bad news.....he's not fooling anyone (except his owners)...his latest offering, 11 hits/1HR in 5 IP and 5 earned. The only bright spot was the K/BB ratio of 5/1.

I'm tired of looking for excuses for his performance, inter-league play, lingering shoulder problem from spring training, etc. At the end of the day he's taking up a bench spot and I have no faith in starting him even against the worst hitting NL clubs at this point. The risk/reward is too high.

If you still believe in him please talk me off the ledge because I am seriously thinking of dropping him for next to nothing.

There is obviously no one in the FA/WW pool that I know would deliver what I expected out of Sanchez but hell I might be better off picking up someone like Furbush and take the counting stats and the occasional win.

Available
Furbush
Fiers
Marcum (on DL but maybe after the break)
B Chen
Porcello
Griffin

Benoit
Doolittle

I feel your pain bro. I wanted to drop him weeks ago. And I did start him because I need all the Ks and his K/BB.
