What do you guys think?

You would get the best player in the deal, but... McCutchen is becoming a more and more dynamic player and there seems to be a lot of risk with Weeks, with his injury and performance.

Seems like a fair deal though...depends on your gut and what players you want on your team.

With Braun you know what you are going to get. I think McCutchen's ceiling is going higher. Teams will start pitcher smarter around him but if he's walked he's a big threat to steal bases.

Outfield help should be readily available on the wire, 2B production not so much...if you have a good back up at 2B consider it, otherwise I'd rather take McCutchen's upside over Weeks' injury risk.

saw that you have Craig who will be off the DL in a week or so...if you want Braun on your team...then pull the trigger.

Sorry, Updated Team in sig. I recently dropped Craig after going to DL. He will still be there in a week or 2 I'm sure. I added Ian Desmond after Tulo got drilled by Fowler's foul and he's actually been hitting. I could also package some pitching together and target a new 2B in a trade. This is a tough trade to decide on and I'm not sure which way to lean. I doubt McCutchen will ever give you the production that Braun does. Losing Uggla is losing a lot of power, though.

McCutchen has been on fire...the only blip was vs. Verlander and his 1-hitter...it's hard to get consistent production out of 2B these days...you won't get that with Weeks right now and for the rest of the season, who knows.

I agree with above... Who's going to play 2nd for you? Weeks? Could work out, could end up with nothing from his spot...

Utley may not be back until after the ASB, and what's he going to do with a limp wrist? Redecorate the Phillies' clubhouse?
